Dr Chris Roworth (PhD) - Clinic Director and Senior Practitioner

Chris began his medical career after recovering from a chronic spinal injury received during free fall parachuting. Chris’s recovery was due to the integrated treatments that a Japanese Doctor gave him.
In order to bring this level of treatment to other people, Chris has spent 25 years learning:

• Japanese Integrated Natural Medicine (Physical medicine, Acupuncture and herbal tonic)
• Western Physiotherapy, Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy
• Nutrition, Oriental Herbal medicine and Supertonics
• Cranial Visceral, fascia release and Lymphatic massage
• Applied Kinesiology and Reflex re-patterning
• Acupuncture and Moxibustion (Several different systems)
• Hypnotherapy And NLP
• Remedial massage
• Martial arts and Martial medicine
• Osteomyology – Etc...

Chris was one of the first Natural medicine practitioners to work within the NHS and has lectured in teaching Universities in; England, Spain, Germany, Austria and Japan. His integrated approach is to treat the person, using many therapies at the same time.
Chris is also the Director of The Chestnut Centre.
James Roworth - Practitioner
James was encouraged to learn and practice Japanese Integrated Medicine following treatment by his father Dr Chris Roworth and his fathers teacher Dr Hatsumi following a serious car crash at the age of 11
James is now an experienced practitioner of Japanese Integrated Medicine

Nana Hino - Practitioner
Nana was born and raised in Japan prior to coming to England where she met (and later married) Dr Chris Roworth. Nana is qualified in:

• Japanese Integrated Natural Medicine (Physical medicine, Acupuncture and herbal tonic)
• Acupuncture and Moxibustion (Several different systems)
• Martial arts and Martial medicine
• Remedial massage and Holistic Massage

Nana is also an Instructor and Language Specialist at The Chestnut Centre
Martin Dawber - Clinic Manager & Practitioner
Martin assists Dr Chris with managing and coordinating the running of the clinic. In addition to this Martin is also a fully qualified Practitioner of Japanese Integrated Medicine.
